How To Save A Life
By The Fray
see related

It's been a while.  Over a month. umm what's happened?

Prom was the time of my life. Better than I expected.

School has been absolute hell.  I have three projects due the last week of school. That's BS. I'm deff. ready for school to be over.  I don't want the seniors to graduate though.  I will miss too many of them.

This weekend was good, minus not getting to stay out because my parents decided to take most of my priviledges away.  Friday I went out with Shelly, Ellyn, and Kadavis.  Then me and dad went to the Yngwie Malmsteen show.  Best guitarist I've ever heard. We left kind of early and then i went to Steak and Shake with DJ, Whitney, and Chelsea and we talked about or problems lol.  Then i came home and got bitched at for being home at 1. Even though they told me I could go?

Satuday Evan and Chelsea came and woke me up and brought me breakfast and then me and Chelsea laid out and golfcarted.  I worked and then went to Todd's bonfire. It was a good time.

Shopped today.  Can't find cute bathing suits ANYWHERE.

Lots of parties this weekend. Should be a good time.

I've been meaning to write for like a week now.  The FBLA State Conference was a blast.  I was not ready to leave.  It took me like three days to get over the fact that I had to be back home.  Dance was by far the best part.

HIGHLIGHTS

Dance!!!

“Vote, vote Kayla!” skit

Ashley falling up AND down steps

Ashley falling off our bed

Lucy Zhang calling us

Prank phone calls

Our nicknames

Getting in Nick’s pants (not literally)

The Gothic guy I danced with

Thinking about Macole being on drugs haha

I'll post pictures sooner or later.

So far this week I have worked 13 hours, and working 5 1/2 more on Saturday.  Yeah i miss out on Thunder for work.  Fun stuff.  Testing ends tomorrow thank God.  I'm readyyyy for the weekend.

Perfect Day

I'm really sad Spring Break is over.  Even though I basically did nothing.  I guess it was a pretty weird SB.

Friday at school we had reality store. Kinda boring, but we got out of class. That night,  me and Chelsea went out to eat with Clay and then came home and went riding around with people for a while.

Saturday I worked and when I came home Chelsea and I went to Evans and hung out with him and Whitney.

Sunday I worked again.  After work, Matt Morris took me and Chels out, his car kept overheated so we pulled over like literally every two minutes.  We mad it to Graeter's and got some ice cream, then it started raining.  So it was pouring down and we had to pull over again.  We were close to Waffle House so we pulled in the parking lot and were just gonna sit there.  Then the torando sirens started going off so we ran inside.  We all had to go in the backroom and sit since there might be a tornado.  It was us three, and old man, a guy who used to work at bootleg, and the three women that worked there (one of which had a giant wart on her arm).  So we sat there for God knows how long and finally go to come home.  Then some boys came over and stayed til around 4 and we went to bad.

Monday I went shopping and me and Chelsea spent the night with Katie.  Here's a picture from Katie's house after Chelsea's first day of work haha..

Tuesday I got my hair cut and got a new prom dress.  I found out someone had mine, so I was really disappointed, but I think I found an even better one!  That night I had Chelsea, Katie, and the boys over again.

Wednesday was the Screaming is for Babies tour.  Chels and Zook went with me.  After getting pulled over on the way, we got there in the middle of Cartel, I got to hear "Honestly" and "Runaway"...I missed "Minstrel's Prayer" though.  Then Gatsby's American Dream came on.  They were beyond weird.  Their singer had to be gay...and drunk.  And the guitar player had a mexican mustache haha. Then Copeland was next, they sounded fine, it was quite boring though.  The singer looked just like Todd from Wedding Crashers.  Finally The Starting Line came on.  Jason got us right up by the stage.  They played "Surprise, Surprise" first, and then just a mix of their old CD and new CD.  During "Ready," the singer from Cartel came out and sang.  Then during the last song, "Best of Me" a fight started and they stopped playing and Kenny said a bunch of funny stuff, pretty sure that was all staged though.  Oh, and Kenny and Mike looked gorgeous!

Thursday I worked and then went out with Todd, Phil, and Chelsea for a bit and then we spent the night at Katie's.

Friday I worked and the storm came.  It was so windy and the clouds were like spinning but Marshall wouldn't let us leave to go to the liquor store or to get in his basement, so everyone's kinda running out freaking out.  We finally went ot his basement but most of the time we stoof outside and watched it all.  I got off a few minutes early and came home and watched Just Friends, and Neil and Justin stopped by.

Saturday me and Chelsea and my Mom went prom shoe/jewelry shopping, so I have pretty much everything for prom now.  Then Matt picked us up and we went out to eat and then went to Hershey's Ice Cream.  Came back to my house and a few guys came over.  After they left, we went out with Phil and DJ and then came home.

Had to wake up early today and work until 3.  And that's pretty much Spring Break.

Christians
By Maya Angelou

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'."
I'm whispering "I was lost,
Now I'm found and forgiven."

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
And need His strength to carry on.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
And need God to clean my mess.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws are far too visible,
But God believes I'm worth it.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner
Who received God's good grace, somehow!

So I still don't know how much it's going to cost to fix my car.  I should be saving up, but yesterday I went shopping and bought 3 pairs of shoes and a new purse. Oops.

Weekend was pretty cool.  I worked Friday and then went to Katie's.  I wasn't in the greatest mood and there was drama, but what else is new?

Saturday I worked again and got off early and went to Ellyn's and hung out with her, Chelsea, Brooke, and some of her brother's friends.

Sunday Kristie made us breakfast and we watched the highlight film and I left and went shopping.

I've done horrible on my diet, so I'm trying to get back on track.  I wish it was warmer so I could go jogging or something.
